Analoge Meditationen

29.10.2015 19:30 – 21:00

Analogue Meditations – an acoustic intervention by Julie Bräuning (text/concept) with Mario Marchisella (music) as part of the solo exhibition Wir tun einfach, als ob wir nicht da sind (engl.: we will act as if we are not there) by Marianne Halter.

As a kind of complementary counterpart to the exhibition of Marianne Halter acts the acoustic intervention Analogue Meditations by actress Julie Bräuning (text / concept), which she performs for the first time live with musician Mario Marchisella.

In short sequences everyday, mostly private and analogous actions are meticulously described. These mini pieces contrast and complement the scenery and images of the exhibition, which are located in the public-urban space thematizing processes that are disconnected from the individual.

Permiere of the radio play was at the end of September 2015 as part of Kurzstrecke / Nr.42 at Deutschland Radio Kultur.
