The artist duo Ruth Anderwald + Leonhard Grond lives and works in Vienna (Austria).
Since 1999 they are working with photography, expiremental film and art in public space.
In 2012, they started the project HASENHERZ with presentations e.g. at Kulturzentrum bei den Minoriten Graz (2012), Kunsthalle Wien (2012), Whitechapel Gallery, London (2013).
2007 the work Notes on a Coast of the artists was published. It addresses the complexities inherent to the encounter between an artist and an unfamiliar place.
Since 2007 they have been following with their cameras big building sites like: Hope of Glory Architekten | Neubau des Südflügels des Oberösterreichischen Landesmuseum | Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos | Neubau des Joanneumsviertel in Graz | Caramel Architekten | Neubau des Wohnprojektes Krautgarten in Vienna | 1220 | Dominique Perrault Architecture | Neubau der DC-Towers in Vienna.
2014 Ruth Anderwald + Leonhard Grond started the artistic research project Dizziness – A Resource at the Acadamy of Fine Art Vienna, which is supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
