With his photographic art, Stephan Wittmer creates images for walls, within space and for the mind.

Stephan Wittmer, *1957 in Erlinsbach/CH, lives and works as an artist and curator in Lucerne/SUI. He studied art at the Lucerne University/SUI and is co-founder of the Kunsthalle Luzern (1990), founding partner of the PZK Platform for Contemporary Art GmbH (1999, today SPAMAM GmbH), that he also directed. Since 2003 he is a professor at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the Design and Art Department, responsible for the course Art and Education. He is the editor of the independent monthly art magazine _957, the monthly issue has been published since 2012.
