Zhanna Ozirna
Zhanna Ozirna is a Ukrainian director and screenwriter based in Kyiv
Zhanna Ozirna is a Member of Ukrainian Film Academy and Directors Guild of Ukraine. Berlinale Talents 2020 alumna. In 2018 Zhanna got an award Best Ukrainian film (86 IFF) and Jury Special Mention (Odesa IFF) for her doc short Bond. The project was a winner of the Oppose Othering grant program at GoEast Film Festival (2017, Wiesbaden/GER). In 2019 her short fiction The Adult (2019) was presented in the special programme The State of a New Generation within the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur. In 2020 Zhanna’s project Anna & Gravity won the Jury Special Mention for the best script pitching within interfilm Berlin Script Lab. The project of her feature debut film Ground Zero took part in
numerous platforms such as La Fabrique Cinéma 2022, Cinemart 2021 (IFFR), Brussels Bozar
Industry Day 2021, New Horizons Studio+ 2021, ScripTeast 2021, Pustnik 2022 for alumni.
