Noureddine Dziri has been a person with a visual approach to everyday life, sport and artistic practice all his life. The focus of his works on paper is the visualization for pedagogical and at the same time independent aesthetic purposes. Drawings of movement sequences or tactical arrangements on a playing field open up interactions of understanding and at the same time address the viewer with their own visual language. The pedagogical focus on people, the analytical approach to the movement broken down into its individual parts and the awareness of the power of impression characterize Noureddine Dziri’s characteristic handwriting as an artist and pedagogue.
Noureddine Dziri was born into a family of artists in Tunis in 1949 and came to Germany as a student on a scholarship. He worked as a sports and arts teacher for more than four decades and was enthusiastic about various arts and crafts techniques and sports education.
