In his latest work, the author describes his journey through Sri Lanka, which was devastated by a tsunami in 2004. Together with a group of local puppeteers, Birckmann brought traditional Ceylonese puppet theatre to the people.
Stefan Birckmann, a traveller, salesman and dishwasher among other things, is above all a human art entrepreneur and supports many independent projects all over the world. In addition to his non-profit work, Birckmann is an artist and musician.
