The line that maximum reduction in physical propagation, materiality and color seems to underlie many works by Andreas Marti. By transferring the principle of line onto other materials – including room-filling installations – he explores and creates new and different spaces. This applies to the physical space as well as to the space of materials. Following this logic, the work of Andreas Marti has moved more and more towards installations and objects in recent years.
