The invited artists reflect on life after the future and invite us to readjust our perception.

Throughout her life, the theme of control and loss of control has been an essential part of the artistic work of Maddy Arkesteyn (NL/ BE). The groups of works shown convey a mood of departure.

Using the means of the photographic image, Dorothee von Rechenberg (Basel / CH) questions viewing habits, plays with them and thwarts them.

With simple materials and minimal interventions, Perrine Lacroix (Lyon / F) creates impressive breaks in perception and irritation. Your exhibition ”Mauer” (Wall) allows diverse and multi-layered references to physical and mental walls.

In “A Grain of Salt” Karel Doing (London / UK) experiments with chemical reaction traces on film layers using salt, water and caffeine-based developer solution.

The performance artist Anne Hody (Basel / CH) regards herself as artistic material with which she reflects on the phenomena of everyday life. With the installation “Seeraum” the exhibition space itself becomes a large aquarium.

Magdalena Gerber (Geneva / CH) is interested in shifts in perception and reality. Many of her works see themselves as a comment or reinterpretation of everyday objects that suddenly develop their own poetry in a dysfunctional manner.
