A German Artist Christine de la Garenne studied at the School of Design Karlsruhe (DE) with Prof. Dieter Kiessling. She lives and works in Berlin now.

Biography

Christine de la Garenne, born 1973 in Karlsruhe, lives and works in Berlin (GER).

1994-2000 studied at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe with Professor Ernst Caramelle (Meisterschülerin) and 2000-02 at Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe with Professor Dieter Kiessling.

Christine de la Garenne was present with her work in numerous exhibitions like the 54th Biennale di Venezia, Latinamerican Pavillon (2011) and the 52th Biennale di Venezia, at Hamburger Kunsthalle, 798 Factory Peking, Kunsthalle Kiel, Berlinischen Galerie, in Oscar Niemeyers Oca in Sao Paulo, at the Chelsea Art Museum New York, Palais de Glace Buenos Aires, Kunstmuseum Bonn, Museum Reina Sofia Madrid, Museo d´Arte Contemporanea di Villa Croce Genua, the ZKM Karlsruhe and in the frame of the traveling exhibition „Menos Tiempo que Lugar“, curated by Alfons Hug, in many Museums in South America.
