Biography
Maria Magdalena Z`Graggen lives and works in Basel, Switzerland.
The artist, Maria Magdalena Z`Graggen, who was born in Basel (CH) in 1958, is a globetrotter. After graduating from the University of Art and Design in Basel (CH), she went out into the world. She studied at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York and had studio residencys in Havana (CU), Buenos Aires (AR) and the US.
Her works have been shown in numerous international and national exhibitions, including the Limlip Art Museum, Gongju (Korea), the Galería del Infinito Arte, Buenos Aires (Argentina), the Roger Smith Gallery, New York (US) and at the exhibition space Klingental, Basel (CH), to name just a few.
The artist was, among other things, a scholarship holder of the Heinrich Danioth Foundation and had extended stays in Argentina, Cuba and the USA.
