Quirina Lechmann

Disentis / SUI | Website

Quirina Lechmann seeks spontaneity and risk, experimenting at the interface of voice, sound and unpredictability.

Quirina Lechmann began her classical singing studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp while studying English, German and Dutch at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. Since then she has realized a number of projects and concerts at home and abroad.

In addition to singing, Quirina Lechmann is increasingly devoting herself to composition as well as cross-genre and cross-media installations and performances.

In the performance toccata con sordino, Quirina Lechmann explores Gianin Conrad’s exhibition and reacts to it. She creates new relationships between sculpture and performance, between the visual and metaphysical aspects of things.

Quirina has worked with various singers and teachers: KS Eva Randová, Sumi Jo, Jenny Drivala, Anne Williams-King, Nuccia Focile, Inessa Galante, Stephanie Friede, Luciana Serra, Angel Joy Blue, Petra Lang, Adrian Baianu and others.
