Linda Köke (Utrecht/NL), curator and art historian (geleen/NL) will wird das Künstlergespräch mit den beiden Künstler:innen Jolijn van den Heuvel und Bas de Weerd führen.

Linda Köke works, inter alia, as an art historian at Metropolis M, is project coordinator at Kunstpodium T and curator at Willem Twee Kunstruimte. Furthermore, she freelances for various art institutions and works as an individual artist. She focusses her work, especially on young artists.
The two Dutch artists, Jolijn van den Heuvel and Bad de Weerd, create diverse references between art, art production, goods, everyday life and consumption, shifting their perception vice versa. They question the places where art is created, where it’s shown and by whom it is perceived, as an implicit part of their work.
As part of the project PASSAGE the two artists moved into one of the vacant business premises at the Kaiserpassage, Bonn/GER and developed their the works for the duo show at DAS ESSZIMMER.
