Concert: art – interplay
art-interplay is a synthesis of music, dance, (sound) performance and video by and with Jörg Hufschmidt (sound performance), Ingo Reulecke (dance), Ulrike Schoeller (video) and Joachim Zoepf (music)
art-interplay sees itself as a synthesis of music, dance, (sound) performance and video.
The artists Jörg Hufschmidt (sound performance), Ingo Reulecke (dance), Ulrike Schoeller (video/performance) and Joachim Zoepf (music) meet to explore connections and differences in mutual rapprochement from their respective disciplines.
The participants see themselves as a performing body with equal rights on all levels, which expands its artistic sphere of influence by combining different approaches and breaks new ground together, through the interplay of structured and improvised elements.

Material
Jörg Hufschmidt (sound performance)
Jörg Hufschmidt lives and works as a visual artist and musician in Hannover/GER
The encounter in a space of imagination in which a whole, alive and essential, resides, finds its counterpart in the authenticity of the forces brought over. From this internally anchored position, the action enters into communication with the other, unfolds, becomes a visual trace, a performative action or a musical gesture and lives as an ephemeral sound in the space.
Ingo Reulecke (dance)
After his contemporary dance training, Ingo Reulecke studied choreography
at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. In 1994 and 1997 he received scholarships from the Berlin Senate for Culture and in 1998/99 from the DAAD for study visits to New York City. From 1999 to 2004 he worked as “Choreographer in Residence” at the Tanzfabrik Berlin, in 2001 as Artist in Residence in Fylkingen (Stockholm) and in 2002 as Artist in Residence at the Choreographic Center Essen for “gleich.gültig 2”.
His choreographies have received numerous awards and have been invited to numerous festivals at home and abroad.
Reulecke has a permanent position at the Interuniversity Center for Dance in Berlin.
Ulrike Schoeller (Video/Performance)
The potentials and deficits of everyday living spaces and actions, in encountering fragmentary components of imperishable, described history and its movements and fleeting moments, are the starting point of my artistic work.
I am interested in researching, observing and touching the situational in spaces and movements. It appears to me as found material that develops further in constant movement between surface and space, body and sign, chance and spontaneous gesture and forms pictorial traces and settings in my work. The place where I pick up the traces in their described conventional connotation plays an important role in the process of their artistic transformation and opening.
The activity of my artistic work moves medially in the areas of installation, performance, graphics, photography and film.
Over the last 4 years, in an interdisciplinary context of performance, dance, sound art, drawing and music, in collaboration with the 4-person ensemble INTERPLAY, cinematic narratives that are recorded in one-shot videos have been created.
