Reading | Stefan Birckmann – Space Cowboy
In his Dada-inspired performative reading “Space Cowboy”, with Stefan Birckmann (Bonn / Flensburg) texts by Dada greats such as Hugo Ball with Gil Scott Heron.
In his reading, Stefan Birckmann (Bonn/Flensburg), author of Reise eines Ungeschickten (2014, Goethe und Hafis Verlag) and Doppelschicht (2015, Goethe und Hafis Verlag), mixes well-known and unknown Dada texts from Kurt Schwitters to Hugo Ball with his own serious and absurd text creations, grouped around a recent adaptation of Gil Scott Heron’s 1970 cult text The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.
DAS ESSZIMMER is celebrating 5 years and 27 exhibitions on the occasion of the finissage of the solo exhibition by Stijn Peeters (Eindhoven / NL) with the Dada reading “Space Cowboy 2” by and with Stefan Birckmann and a party.
