stöckerselig (Basel / CH) have been building together on an artistic universe since 1987 by discovering and understanding the world.
We are incredibly honoured to show the exhibition 360 Grad (360 degrees) by Swiss art duo stöckerselig, since it is their first solo show in Germany.
In 1987, stöckerselig started to collaborate. Since then they are building on a mutual artistic universe by discovering and grasping the world around them. Their oeuvre, including drawings, photographs, videos and texts, unfolds spaces full of everyday lifs magic.
The nucleus and initiation of stöckerselig´s work is their intense and open digging for images and archetypes of the current environment and their own psychografic archives.
The installation 360 Grad offers a multidimensional prospect and widens sight for new spaces of consciousness. In the video work 360 Grad the visible rotation of the world interferes with time-dependent events and merges to a complex space-time continuum. The staged public space and intimate moments of everyday life create a visual poetry.
