Solo exhibition “permanent recipe” by Felix Baudenbacher (London), in which he juxtaposes the act of self-exposure, a gesture of self-exaggeration and an image of violence.
About The Exhibition
For the past few years, Felix Baudenbacher has been working exclusively in Bau Pink, an artist oil colour he designed and produces himself. The colour reflects the (sometimes blind) intensity of his personality and stands for the all-pervasive self, the filter through which the world surges towards the him and through which he interacts with the world.
The point of origin for Dauerrezept, Felix Baudenbacher’s first solo presentation in Germany, is an act of
self-revelation by the artist, which is answered by a gesture of self-aggrandisement and an image of violence. Felix Baudenbacher created a whole new body of work specifically for this exhibition. It consists of the works Dauerrezept, Dick pic (oh what fragile things we are), Never broken and Prescriptions.
„It is the ‘I’ I can’t escape, sometimes my friend, often my enemy, always walking right beside me.“
