Christine Camenisch and Johannes Vetsch question their surroundings through site-specific video installations and change the viewer’s perception of it through them.

As cooperation partner of Videonale.16 we show parallel zu the festival the video installations by Christine Camenisch and Johannes Vetsch. Their video installations focus on the basic characteristics of the medium video and its presentation, namely the possibility to project images – that means moving light – into space.

In their mostly site-specific works, the moving video light creates a new space or better a new (light-)architecture that fundamentally changes and challenges the space and thus its experience.

For DAS ESSZIMMER Camenisch/Vetsch designed multi-channel video installations tailored to the respective spatial situation.
